Hollywood Royalty – 3

Gazing at the colossal mansion towering over her, June's caramel tinted pools swirled with a variety of wonder and amazement, even though she had grown up in a filthy rich family.

Not only was her father's home four times the size of even an average movie star's house, but it was without a doubt, breathtakingly beautiful. Colorful stained glass windows replaced regular glass and shimmering painted gold tiles took the place of common tan or pale pink roof tiles. The bright orange sun reflected on the tiles, casting a warm glow on the long driveway.

As June stepped towards picturesque house, she couldn't help but let out under her breath, "Whoa."

Hearing her, Derek nodded, agreeing, "It's a wonder, isn't it?" June nodded her head, slowly continuing the descent towards her new house.

Upon arriving at the large front door, Derek stepped in front on Mr. Skye, leaving June's luggage on one of the door steps, rapping his tan knuckles on the door. A slightly pudgy housekeeper, who would later introduce herself as Mrs. Pearce, warmly beckoned them in.

June gaped at the glistening immaculate tiles stretching before her. Dazzling flowers of all sorts decorated shelves and countertops, giving the room a natural lavender and rose scent. Several priceless Picassos hung over a grand piano kept in top condition. One of the few glass windows revealed an impressive view of a beautiful lake where several canoes sat untouched—most likely for show.

"I'm going to my study," Mr. Skye announced, leaving June with Derek and Mrs. Pierce. "Come on dear," Mrs. Pierce motioned, tearing June's gaze from the wondrous living room.

Slightly in a daze from the beautiful furniture and adornments filling the room, June followed Mrs. Pierce up the spotless flight of stairs, with Derek bringing up the rear, still effortlessly carrying June's heavy luggage.

The trio passed numerous multi-purpose rooms, each causing June's jaw to drop just a bit more, before arriving at an enormous room. Inside the room was basically everything a teenage girl could possibly wish for.

A light turquoise mixed with white covered three walls and the last was painted a calming serene white. A large walk-in closet opened to her left, revealing rack after rack of new clothing, price tags still dangling from their pricey material. A wide screen TV sat across from a new bed. The bed was covered with a coffee-colored comforter, and teal throw pillows sat near the expensive bed frame.

A newly-brought computer sat on a desk, screaming at June to come use it. Blue and white cushioned beanbag chairs in several shades decorated the corner of the room, positioned next to a large fancy bookcase. A tall lamp stood on the other side the beanbag chair, alluring June to drop everything and read.

Basically, the blue, white, and brown themed room, was stunning. Derek let out a low whistle, obviously impressed. "Dude, I knew your dad was excited about your stay and wanted you to be comfortable here... But man, this is something..." Derek trailed off.

Ripping her admiring gaze from the room, she instantly trained her eyes on Derek.

Excited? Her father was excited? Based on the "warm" welcome her father had given her and years of stern brief exchanged between them, she would have never guessed it. "Did you say he was excited for my arrival?" June questioned, slowly letting the unbelievable idea sink into her head.

"Yeah. I mean he was rambling on about it for weeks. Seriously, he insisted on re-doing this entire room himself," Derek answered, clarifying the impossible. Mrs. Pierce nodded in agreement.

Still unbelieving that this was true, June graciously thanked Derek and Mrs. Pierce and proceeded to politely dismiss them, just like she was raised. The two left, allowing June to collect her turmoil of thoughts and arrange them in an unorderly line.

I didn't really want to put a comment limit, but I really don't like the lack of comments I've been getting. D:

So.. 12+ comments for the next one.

Oh, and for the last two episodes, I've forgot to mention that this is based on Zoey Dean's series, The A-List.
